And here we were all naively thinking that Google was the company which outsmarting larger, better-funded competitors like Altavista, Lycos and, Inktomi (MSN's former provider) by providing a better service. Givne the general puff nature of the piece this really seems like someone at CNET returning a favor for Microsoft PR.
